I've been a very satisfied customer of Ally Handyman Services for longer than it has been formally operating. Projects AHS has done for me around my farmstead include: Installing a split-system air conditioner in my retirement cottage, Sourcing and installing a custom steel cellar-door on the old farmhouse, Installing an interconnect between my electric panel and an emergency generator, Installing outlets and lighting in my pole barn, and Running electric service from the pole barn to a new potting shed and installing outlets and lighting. Rich is always willing to provide a cost and a time estimate and stick to it. When there is uncertainty about what a project will require in time or materials he is upfront about it and keeps within the budget limits the customer sets. Similarly, he schedules the work so that the customer knows when to expect him to start and finish the job. A project is never started then abandoned without explanation leaving the customer in a mess and nobody to fix it. When Rich is working on your property you can be assured the worksite will be as clean and well organized as possible and will probably be cleaner when he finishes than when he started the project. If you are considering having some work done on your property AHS is a good way to go. Rich has become a valued ally to me because of his quality workmanship and his resourcefulness. When I asked him to get electricity from my barn to a new building I was concerned about the disruption that would be involved with crossing my driveway. He immediately investigated possibilities for tunneling under rather than trenching through it. Thanks to his inquisitiveness and willingness to try new techniques my asphalt remained intact and my travel was uninterrupted.

His recommendations for products were great. The end result was so much better than I had planned. He completed the work in a timely manner.
